I’m a software engineer at Glovo, a food delivery service. I’ve been working as a frontend engineer, developing advanced features for a large-scale web application tailored to Glovo partners, from inception until reaching a mature state, to serve a diverse user base monthly.

I’ve been refactoring of legacy code, introducing modular design patterns, improving test coverage, and shipping features to the most recent version of Vue.js.

As a team member, I collaborate closely with backend developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers to align on project requirements and deliverables.

Additionally, I lead initiatives that involve writing and updating documentation for features, APIs, and workflows to ensure clarity and knowledge sharing within the team.

I started learning autonomously web developing at the begining of 2019, building some projects along the way. I then had the opportunity to do a 6 months FullStack Bootcamp at Factoria F5. Here I expanded my frontend skills and acquired new backend skills by building some projects using the popular PHP framework: Laravel. I also had the privilege to be trained in agile methodologies.

During these years, I played with several projects, both collaborative and personal. These experiences included: my personal static website, an institutional website with a custom content management system, a couple of small web applications, like appointment and bookshelf management.

By using a range of technologies such as PHP, Javascript, MySQL, React, Node.js, and more, these projects have not only expanded my technical capabilities but also provided me a valuable experience in team collaboration and project management.

Throughout my years in the social services sector, I’ve held various roles contributing to community support and development. My responsibilities have encompassed areas such as education, special needs care, post-adoption and child protection services. This experience has equipped me with a strong skill set in project management, customer support, and team collaboration, garnered through practical involvement in diverse contexts.
